Samarpan Ashram Location
Samarpan Ashram, Dandi is located in a natural environment along the shores of the Arabian Sea. It is filled with tremendous positive energy which affects every individual visiting the place and the surroundings.
Dandi is 13 km from Navsari, Gujarat, India. It is a place of historical importance in India as Gandhiji traveled to Dandi beach at in peaceful opposition to the Government's Salt Tax. When he reached Dandi he started to harvest salt which he believed the people of India should be able to do without being charged. Historically this was a very significant turning point in the independence of India.
Navsari is a main city near Dandi, where the Trust office is located. It is well connected by the Western Railway network. The nearest international Airport is Mumbai. One can get to Navsari from Mumbai by road (National Highway No. 8) in about 5 hours or by train in about 4 hours.
